    Do I need a 2 stage trigger?

    For the SOCOM.

If you are shooting distance, at small targets, I would have to say yes. And that is a good price on that trigger.

If you are shooting less than 100 yards, or shooting across the street in the sandbox, not so much.

I paid $119.00 for 2-stage 4 lb. trigger with lower parts kit from Springfield. Pretty good deal.

How would this compare to other 2 stage triggers? Quality wise...

My research tells me Bill Springfield does good work and I spoke to him on the phone personally. My opinion is that, if someone takes the time to talk to customers personally, it speaks volumes.

Plus, with the Slowryde45 seal of approval, how can you go wrong?

Yes I'm building the lower and just got started. Got the stripped lower for Christmas:

What's the link for Bill Springfield?

And I could use some suggestions for the remainder of the lower parts.
