Hey new here, Im trying to build a RRA lar-8, I have the completed lower, the only thing im having trouble with is I don't necessarily need a .308, Does anyone know if RRA makes a .243 upper for this rifle currently, or any companies that have a compatible upper for the Lar-8

    If you don't need a .308 and are considering .243, why don't you just build a .223?

Such is the downside of the AR's in 308, they are not interchangeable like the AR15 platform.

    Hmm haven't considered that, oh, because I need a .223 like I need a hole in the head, I don't have multiple calibers that are the same, I have a 22-250. Covers the 22 family. I have a 30-06. Well that covers the 30 cal. So what's in the middle. .243. I didn't say I wouldn't build a .308. I said. I really didn't need one.

RRA .243 upper. If put into google, will show up with a result. That goes to rock rivers site for a lar-8 upper. Anyone know if they can still make them. Haven't heard back from RRA. Yet
