Unconditional love in a furry package...

So sorry pard... All you can really say in the end is "Good dog".
You can never replace... Only try and make room in your heart for another when it's right.

So sorry. Be confident that you did the right thing and take it slow. It took me a week to get rid of Percy's bed next to my chair.

So sad to hear that. My kitty that I just put to sleep was named Moby but I called him Sassy. Pets are family. It will get better.

I'm so sorry for your lost. We had a akita for16 years and lost her a little over a year ago. Took about 10 months before we could adopt a couple of bostons. Its getting harder to see my tablet.

They are family and burn a permanent spot in our hearts . I just lost my shadow
this past August . A yellow and pit mix and the happiest entity I,ve had the pleasure to share some ten years with !

Very sorry for your loss .

    Sorry for your loss!

Last year on December 20, 2012 we had to take our Husky Sedona to our vet, recommendation was she had to be put down or she might not make it to the next morning.

I have her picture next to the computer, of her laying on the rocks. I get emotional every time.

We have her brother, Denali he has some issues and at this time I fear he will go to sleep and not wake up. :(

The loss of a creature that gives you all their love without compromise is painful. We lost our "Kelly" 6 mos ago. I still often go to the door to let him out early in the morning. He was with us 12.6 years. :)

Sorry for your loss. For some of us, our pets are our children, and they will always have a special place in our hearts after they have passed on. I had to have my golden retriever\collie mix put down 2 years ago in July. I still find myself looking for her from time to time. After 15 years, it's hard not to. Still haven't looked for another dog myself, the wife has her lab, but I just haven't found one that feels right to me. They are a friend that is impossible to replace.
