Im in the market for an accurate, relatively inexpensive rifle. I really love the style of the cz 527 fs. The full length stock makes that gun look great. But there is a problem. I am a lefty. I already contacted cz and they cant help me without charging an extra $600. So I was wondering if anyone knows about a similar rifle for leftys or has any advice. I would prefer .223. Anything helps though. Thanks

If I remember correctly the CZ is bolt action and magazine fed. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything similar that's inexpensive.

My first thought was Savage as well, but I don't think they make a mag fed bolt gun.

Although it's semi-auto, a 580 series Mini 14 could fit the bill. Not as accurate as the CZ, but an excellent all around rifle.

Not a drop out box mag but they do make blind box mags w drop out floor plates. Ya a mini would work....if he doesn't mind brass hittin him in the face

Very very true. I got a wild hair up my butt one day and start jackin w a mini just to see EXACTLY how far I get on to launch brass. In the end I was gettin it to fling the 3rd one out of a 3 shot rapid fire burst to go bout 15 yards. I gave up bout then. It proved my theory-you can turn the brass from one into a good weapon in itself;)

Savage,Remington,Browning,Tikka,Ruger all make LH rifles. But I don't think you'll find anyone that offers a LH with a Mannlicher style stock.
If you like that CZ,I'd just buy it.You won't have any problem shooting it LH,the buttstock is an Ambidextrous design, only the action is right handed.

There are many who would strongly disagree with that.:(

I'm sorry Locutus, but a Ruger Mini 14 isn't anywhere near as accurate as ANY bolt action rifle.
And yes,I have owned a Mini 14 for many years. They are very fun guns to shoot, but accuracy isn't one of their strong points.
Minute of baseball at 100 is about the best iv ever seen......semi factory wo AlOT of smithing
