Stevens model 745. You can contact Savage Customer service through their website, and they may be able to give you definitive information.

In the period where FN in Belgium was occupied by the Nazi's, both Remington and Savage licensed the Browning design for production in the US. I think yours has an alloy frame, and was about 1941-1949 or so. As you already know, Revelation was the store brand used by Western Auto Hardware, much as Sears used the JC Higgins brand.

Thanks for the info. So with a belgium browning, a browning built by remington, during the war, remington model 11's, and now a savage on an a5 frame, think I have a collection, how many other companies built shotguns on browning a5 patents?
