I love old ammo and have way too much. My only addition to this thread is to point out that old ammo tends to be more "Disappointing than Devastating". We've shot a lot of it up over the years, but stopped doing so after cases cracked, duds left bullets and wads in the barrels, and bases on shotshells blew hot gas in our faces. My question for the group is to ask if anyone knows how to wrap old ammo boxes as I've seen at gunshows in the clear plastic that apparently shrinks around the box ? The old ammo boxes do not travel well, nor do they like to be handled.
