for a while i had a negative opinion of pmags. so ive been thinking about it and decided to do some drop tests.

fully loaded up all 12 of the pmags i have and repeatedly dropped them from shoulder height onto the carpeted floor. only one volcanoed. it did it time after time. the rest didnt. so i think my opinion was based solely on one faulty out of spec mag.

also explains why that mag would double and triple feed

Some of us that have used PMags for years share this new found opinion of yours. In fact there has been quite an outcry over the mil not allowing the use of PMags anymore due to the mils newly designed follower. It's horrible that the mil would take proven equipment out of the hands of the war fighter.

i have alot of pmags what i like is they are relativly inepensive so i dont worry if i mess one up.

the new military follower still doesnt fix the problem. the difference in the pmag is there is a "trench" in the wall of the pmag the follower rides in that prevents it from tilting. its more than just the follower

Its one mag of six i bought for 7.50 a few years back in texas. Not worth messing with cost me more in postage to send it to em. Im just gonna keep the spring follow and floorplate and toss the body

Jon you may want to try a different spring in that body before you toss it. It sounds crazy but sometimes its the spring that has too much pressure developing instead of not enough from the body.
