Im getting into reloading my mil-surps, I am going to play a little with loadings and different bullets, but for the most part right now I want to replicate the military rounds as they were during the rifle was in service... Whats the best powder to use in a variety of old mil-sups? I got some IMR-4895 (that was the US military powder wasnt it?), and some RL-15 (I think thats the current powder for the .308 M118 "sniper" round) Does anybody know what powders various countrys used? Like the Russians and Japanese during WWII? How about loadings for 6.5, 7.7 Jap, 7.62x54r, and most importantly M2 .30-06 (My 1903 was tackdriver with Greek "HXP" surplus, and see no reason to change from those specs..) Added:How about M2 AP?
