Saw one of these at my LGS today. Anybody have any experience with one? Sure seemed like a nice pistol. Real smooth trigger.

Doyle, i have the R1 Enhanced model. very accurate, fit and finish are excellent and it's a pure pleasure to shoot. MSRP is $940, but i got mine for about $775. the only modification to mine are the grips. it's really a nice pistol and i don't think you would regret buying it. here's mine with the new grips on it.Saw one of these at my LGS today. dang nice looking 1911 there Doyle! BTW, go ahead and start saving for the next one!Didn't go with the enhanced model, but I think this'll do nicely for my 2nd 1911.

Where'd you get those grips? The R1 looks good in stainless.SIG said:This is my R1S. I have about 600 rounds through it now and it has been absolutely flawless. Great trigger right out of the box, too.
they also have a TALO edition that's bi-tone. SS slide and matte blue frame. pretty nice looking. they are now offering a R1 Enhanced in SS!Where'd you get those grips? The R1 looks good in stainless.
Yep, I like it.Fathead00 said:ZG has one and it is a sweet shooter out of the box. We've shoot around 200 rounds through it and no problems so far.
