Does anyone know if you can get a new one with a solid wood stock , or are they all hardwood laminate ? My son says they have solid wood models, but I think different. I have seen the 870 Wingmaster has a solid stock , but I belive that the new 870's are either laminate or synthetic .
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I am speaking of the 3 1/2 inch express magnum.
    Just to be specific!

I don't know about the magnum but I have the normal express model. When I was searching for one I noticed cheaperthandirt.com had there pictures showing the gun with a hardwood stock. I was lucky and picked my 870 up for 225 at a pawn shop. Used but lightly used.

    Thanks!
But.. I saw that on their website as well. Went to Dicks sporting goods and looked at the latest models, and they are indeed hard wood , but laminate ?? Weird
