I need to find a spring to replace in the trigger assembly in my Remington 1100 12 gauge. I've looked through all the schematics, so I believe I have a different model's trigger assembly. It looks exactly like the 1100 but with one small difference; the carrier latch spring. Normally the spring is the same style as the other two springs in the assembly. In mine it's like the Remington magazine latch spring in the 7400, but I'm pretty sure it's smaller. It's not the 7400 assembly.

I can't seem to find that spring anywhere or even some record of them making it. Have you ever come across this?

I don't know why your spring is different, but to find the impossible part try gunpartsauction.com You can participate in the auction or contact them via email and ask if they can find it. Brian Gertsch has come through several times for me. [email protected]. Give it a shot.
