    If a reloader could fine a primer that would fit the steel case then buy extra dies to replace the ones you ruin.

    Most steel cases are Berdan primed so reloading would be more difficult. Steel case life would be shorter than brass cases. You could neck-size only with steel cases and that would help with the short case life and help save your dies. I would never try to reload steel cases unless it was a SHTF situation or similar.

    I used to reload .45 ACP steel. But I ruined a the resizing die. I only do brass now.
