I am starting to reload ammo for the 40 cal. All the rounds I have found are for reloading are for the 10mm. is that the same round for the 40 cal round?

Yep, 10mm and .40 cal are the same thing, now a 40 S&W and 10mm Auto are two very different things that just share the same bore, brass is different but they use the same bullets.
What powder and bullets are you using?

Generally speaking, a "round" is a complete cartridge. Case, powder, primer and bullet.:)

I had to do a double take to realize you were referring to bullets.

.40 is a very easy cartridge to reload. You shouldn't have any problems.

Good Luck!;)

BULLET is the projectile. 10mm bullets are EXACTLY the same as .40 bullets.

I have CCI and Federal small pistol primers and Hornady fmj-fp bullets. I am still trying to get some auto-comp powder for reloading.

In my experience, HS-6 is as good as it gets for the .40

AAC#7, Power Pistol and Herco are also excellent.

I use Power Pistol for my 40's and get great results.
