I done alot of reading online and I can't seem to get the info. for reloading 40 cal. 180 gr. lead with ww231. I also have bullseye. I looking for a nice target load, someone suggested 5 gr. of win231. I reload for 45 cal., 9mm, 357. I just can't seem to get info for 40 cal. lead and yes I been to alot of sites.

Buy a Lee or Lyman reloading manual. There are lots of cast lead bullet reloading info in each of them.

Go to the Hodgdon website. They have data for 180gr and W231 for jacketed, but it is well under the velosity that would create leading.

If you are going to shoot a lot of cast bullets, I recommend that you get a copy of the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. The Lyman 49th is pretty good, but the Cast Bullet specific book brings more data to the table.
