I have "inherited" a Remington 514 from my father recently. He wanted to give it to me because I got my LTC, and his expired many years ago. He hasn't told me the details of how he obtained it, but I'm almost positive it wasn't legal. I would like to register it so I can take it to the range. Does anyone know the correct process for this in the great state of Massachusetts? (or should I shut my yapper so it doesn't get seized)
