What do you think would be the best way to conceal carry while wearing a Kilt?

Should I just carry the LCP in the Sporran?

Would like to carry a .45, just not sure about the weight issue.

I think weight will be an issue. Try the LCP with the frame clip IWB. My Clan carries a dagger in the strong side sock. Now if I can just convince my wife I need a kilt.

Always wanted a kilt, but to be honest I never thought/considered concealed carry with a Kilt.

Could become a problem drawing, and showing the "other" gun.... You might get of the hook shooting the bad guy, but then get charged with some type "indiscretion" charge

    :D:p:D

I would think that an athletic supporter would work. I'm sure that, in your case, there would be plenty of room for your weapon and whatever else you have.

I vote for sock carry; you're wearing a kilt to be traditional, right? ;)

I generally carry a SP101, .357 when wearing a kilt. And yes, it is in the sporran. Of course I have a knife in the top of my right sock and a large dirk in a sheath tucked in at an angle through my belt at the small of my back.

If the knife and the dirk does not stop some soft headed BG, the .357 surely will clear his mind.

Of course the occasions that I wear a kilt are usually with a group of happy, partying Scots that would rather drink than fight (Highland Games). But I have also walked across the Boston Common in a formal kilt kit (that includes the knives) and the .357 was comforting.

Something small and light enough for you to carry, yet comfortable enough to shoot. I find it real hard to shoot small pistols like the Ruger LCP so I carry a snub nose revolver, mind you I have not worn a kilt but those would be my choice on what to carry.
