would someone recommend a safe, secure, reliable online knife company to deal with. I would like to buy a couple of knives for my son and daughter and have had some bad experiences recently with online companies. Point me in the right direction please, Thanks, Ron...
Hey Ron, have you checked out onestopknifeshop.com? I have done a TON of business with them, they have a very large selection and have always treated me well.
There are some real deals on eBay but so is the risk! I can recommend the following as I have had good experience with each. Blade HQ (best automatic knife $$$) A. G. Russell Knives DavesKnifeWorld.com Knifeworks.com Not Your Mamas Knives And last but not least, Randy Porter's Custom Knives!
Knives Might check here..... Smoky Mountain Knife Works - home of the World's largest knife showplace
Check out bushardbolsa on ebay. I have purchased from him a few times and he has some pretty good knifes. Always with in 10 mins or so of winning a bid, I had a shipping number for tracking. Tom
Knife Shopping having had an agenda; SMKW was very high on my ''list'' of places to visit. Met some friends and did some shopping. A wow weee place to visit. Many hours, looking, hunting, visiting ''a must go and see place Smoky Mountain Knife Works - home of the World's largest knife showplace The same week; I visited Home - New Graham Knives another place I'd not have any issue with ordering or ''go see'' list of place to enjoy. A most positive experience.
I've bought from Roger at Shop for case knives, Kershaw and other discount knives at Knifeworks.com, Derek at - KnivesShipFree.com and Ragnar at Ragweed Forge a ton of times and service was always excellent. I've also used Spyderco's store (remember there's an FTF discount!), AG Russell (shipping was a bit slow, but it might be better inside the US), Knives at Knife Center. For SAKs my go to guy is Tim (aka felinevet) at www.sosakonline.com (all the profits go to fund an NGO to help abandoned and ill cats).
Has anyone used Oregon Knife Works ? I was thinking of having the knives I am buying engraved and they do this for I think around $6. thanks, Ron...
