Oh am I guilty of saying this on the forum!! "Just go buy the most expensive one, now!"

Can't...Cash strapped and just need to get it done.

I want to get some optics on my new Savage 10LCF and get to the range soon.

I don't want to pay over $100 for optics and replace it 4 months from now.

I want to spend less than $80 for some long range optics that I can will bridge the gap between shooting now and waiting for the budget to heal.

Suggestions, Recommendations or just Grief, here's your chance!

An $80 scope?? Afraid I don't have much for you brother.

That is setting the bar pretty low, in my opinion, especially for a .308.

I think you can get a Bushnell 3x9 for around $100.

Try Fits MY Budget and see what they have.

    Good luck brother!

Yea, I know JD...I'm having to get change outa the old piggy bank for this purchase and I'm pushing the envelope at $80... and mounts and rings have to come out of that too.

    Beginning to think I'm SOL!

I've got a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 and I've been happy with it. Not the greatest scope I know but I bought it to drag thru the woods. I got mine for $150ish a couple of years ago and haven't had a problem since.

Looks nice! If you like it, get it.
I'm not much of a scope user. I rarely put it on my 22LR. I prefer the open sights.

Looks like a winner if the glass is any good. Where did you find it? In case anyone else is in the same boat.

If you get it, can you do a glass review for us?

No one else has mentioned it so far, but the Mueller APV is a good scope. Decent glass and gets pretty good overall reviews.

 That wasn't the one I listed, but I am sure it is a pretty good scope too. The one I linked was a little over the budget number @ $115 but that sucker blows your budget out of the water!
