I'm no gunsmith, but I would get a Sharp, hard punch, and tap with a hammer on the dovetail flat of the sight. This creates a crater, which pushes the material up higher around it, which should tighten up the gap. Go small taps in several places, until you can barely feel the bump. If it isn't enough, remove the sight and use more force.
