We often hear about this or that person being a "hero". It's often not true. It is frigid cold with a strong current. The rescuer and his girlfriend laid it on the line for a family of strangers. It tears me up that they will blame themselves for not rescuing the mother, too. I know they will. That's how heroes think. God bless.
