I went out to the desert range this morning at about 8:00. Nice cool morning, no wind and about 70 degrees. Kind of a mix bag today. I had a few decent groups with both the Savage MKII FV SR 22 and Remington 700 SPS Tac .223. I also had a few bad ones. Remington 700 at 100 yards and Savage 22 at 50 yards. CCI SV used in the Savage 22 and Fiocchi 50gr V-Max in the Remington .223. Overall, it was a great morning in the desert and had a good time.
Thanks! I really like both of these rifles. Especially the Remington 700 SPS Tac 223. I need to buy some decent scope rings for the Savage 22. In fact, I want the same rings that I have on the Remington.
I went out to the desert range again this morning. I had some pretty decent groups this time out. I took my Remington 700 SPS TAC .223 and my Savage MKII FV-SR 22. I have them both zeroed in pretty well now. Anyway here are some pics of today's target groups.
You're welcome. I know I enjoy seeing pics showing how other people are shooting and what kind of set ups they have. My groups are slowing improving with my Remington 700 SPS Tactical 223.
