Well, my driveway alarm (REAL long driveway, and we are in the country)just went off a couple of minutes ago- but no headlights in my driveway. ????
Tucked my EDC in pocket, snagged a 1000 lumen LED flashlight, and walked out to see what was going on. Found a couple getting passionate in my driveway. My presence seems to have scared them, and they took off at high speed, down thru the woods.
She was a pretty good sized girl, and he was about an 8 pointer, about like this guy. Yeah, it's that time of the year again!

Here’s a thought- french fry nachos need to be a more popular thing. There’s a restaurant here in Maine that makes nachos but they swap out the tortilla chips with waffle fries- and I’m telling you- unbelievably good
Just tied the record for the earliest accumulating snow day before yesterday. Last week Friday was 81 degrees. N.E. Missouri weather is odd this year. Fall turkey season ends Saturday. Management just bought 2 gallons of paint for the hallway. Butterball again.
Tater Tot Nachos with shredded beef or chicken. Almost worth the four hours of high blood sugar. Maybe this year for my birthday binge.
Which reminds me ... I've got a painting project as well. Time to re-do the interior. Patch up the old nail holes, correct a few old hinges, replace the seals along the doors, and scrubbing/prepping/repainting the walls and trim. And then there's the kitchen cabinets and shelves. And the built-in bookshelves. And then several of the older appliances. And ...
I've been stalling on painting my bathroom.
Just can't seem to get properly enthused about it.
November is almost upon us...
