schnuff- in the Union states (Illinois and New York) the labor unions pitched a hissy fit over the use of those power tools. Been using them in japan for 20 years- even have a long handled one to let you do horizontal rebar while standing upright.

I love Japanese woodblock prints, particularly Shin hanga/modern and contemporary works like Hasui
They're very calming, restful. They use a lot blues and greens with brilliant reds straticically placed to catch your eye. Also, they do a lot forest and flowers, like bamboo in brilliant greens and cherry blossoms in pink.
There are lots of artists, if you're interested you can look up "20th century/contemporary Japanese woodblock prints"
