And a MFA, qualifies you to be a woodworker, or someone in the building trades, and write for Fine Homebuilding, or Fine Woodworking. And, in some of those folks you can really see the effect on their designs of the art background. And, they probably had lots of fun partying on their folks money for eight years.

But, they personally would have been money ahead to enter the trades right out of high school. A local contractor I do work with, will hire just about any kid smart enough to know their times tables, and willing to work, as an electrical or plumbing apprentice. Pay them decent money, and send them to classes to get their license, And, if they stick around will cross train them, and pay for the classes to get their licenses as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC journeymen. Last year he couldn’t recruit any young folks.

Someone asked that awhile ago, & my response was: "at the tech school i went to, it meant 'i'm here on a sports scholarship.'"

I should add to that, it also meant "i'm only here to party and play ball & have no interest in becoming a plumber, HVAC tech, carpenter, mechanic, machinist, electrician, dental hygenist, etc., etc."

if the driver of the white car had stayed behind the crosswalk, this would not have happened to him. if the jeep had remained intact, he would have pulled out too close to the jeep. Conclusion: karma

A spinning rod and a zara spook have kept this fat boy dry on many a duck hunt.

Buy used, imo. A five year old bow barely shot is about a third of a new one. People have to have the latest and greatest, that drives the older ones down. Check Craigslist, OfferUp, Facebook, and Armslist, and do your homework.
