I have a PX4 storm in 9x19. And I'm having a nasty problem. It has a problem chambering the first round. Now I don't have a single problem after that. I'm using Remington white box. I just want to know if anyone is having the same problem and if there is a way to fix it.

Try to load 1 less than what the mag can hold (if it holds 10, load 9) and see if that clears the problem.

Try a new mag. With time, mags do wear out or the lips get mal-formed. The first round may not be angled correctly.

Oh, Welcome to the forum. If you have not done so, please stop by the "Introductions" area.

Like danf said, probably the magazine. What I've seen with some mags, when fully loaded the spring binds up, so its not putting even pressure on the follower. When the slide tries to strip the first round, it will nose dive, or something like that.

Yeah the springs in those mags are super tight. I only load mine up with ten each typically.

First off I would try a different brand of ammo like Winchester White Box. I was having problems in a couple pistols with Remington ammo, upon close inspection the bullet was shorter, hence the feeding trouble in a P38 and a Luger. The Winchester WB has a longer bullet and there were no feeding problems. The PX4 is a great pistol, try another brand of FMJ and let us know what happens.

Hey thanks for the advise, I did load the mags with one less and the mags seem to lock in so much easier now. I just glad I was already planing to get new mags for it. And I'll let you know about the different ammo. Thanks again everyone.
