Have a PT92 SS that always shot low. It's the only gun I've ever owned that showed to be way off when laser sighted (points about 6" low at 20 feet). Have been trying to get adjustable sights for months but only one type available and always on backorder (plus that really wouldn't fix the issu, just mask it). Finally found a PT99 slide on ebay fairly cheap that arrived today. Cleaned, mounted, sighted it and went off to the range. Wonderful!! Now shoots dead on (like all my other guns). I own Glock, Rugers, SWs, etc and this has always been my favorite gun (was my first) and I'm really glad it's problem has been resolved.

Great to hear! I need to put my bore sight on my pistols but am afraid to confirm my crappy shooting is my fault

I also thought it was me as this was the only gun I had owned for years. As I started buying more guns I found my accuracy improve but NOT on the 92, so I got a laser bore sight. Read some forum where there were a few other folks with similar issues that had sent the guns back to Taurus and got a new slide. I called them but I wanted a 99 slide for the sights and they wouldn't even sell me one. The laser bore sights are cheap and easy, most guns are fairly close and you can also use them to set up laser sights without wasting ammo.
