    Seriously. Do you think kids so young have any clue about the content of the debate? They saw a face that looks friendly and that talks slow and clearly. Romney looks a little more 'ominous' to a child with bushy eyebrows and greyish hair. I would not take that poll seriously at all. That poll has no indication of the direction of our youth.

    Also, those kids know he's the current president of the United States and they have seen him on TV for the last 4 years. He is someone familiar to them. It doesn't go any deeper than this.

    We are only doomed if we don't learn from our mistakes.

    Nail=hit on head^^^
    I was watching the debate with my 5 year old last night, she said "Daddy, that is President Obama, but who is the other man?" She then said "Dad, I'd vote for President Obama, who would you vote for?" All she knows is that he is the President, she has no idea who Romney is. Obama has pandered to children through his disgusting wife, she has been on multiple kids shows that my daughter watches.

    Depending on how you figure it, it was anywhere between about 40 and 100 years ago.

    I think people are reading into this too much. I agree with W-O-C, kids like the slow talking friendliness they see in Obama.

    A student is swayed by the teachings they receive.

    If a teacher can explain something, and the child understands the explanation, then why go further for any more information?

    If a teacher explains the current position of the President and his opponent, then who would win?

    (Remember the teacher strikes in Chicago? Remember how Wisconsin had that hoopla about how a Republican Governor "broke" the union? Those are strong reasons for teachers to stay with the Democratic party.)
