So I thought it would be cool to do product reviews. We all like try try new things but are hesitant to purchase without doing our homework. There are times something looks good online or in a magazine, and it was a disappointment after we buy it. I thought it be cool to look at products and post them for others to get a better look. I'm starting with a Black Rain Ordinance NIB BCG.
Over all nice BCG, it is stamped MPI, and has a nice finish. Does not compare to the Fail Zero finish but better than others I've seen. The staking is not all that great. But overall nice BCG. All of the components are coated. Feel free to post your new or used products. Hopefully this helps people decide on the products they want.

My new Spikes Tactical M16 BCG

Was very impressed with quality of this BCG for only $109

Phosphate finish was very we'll done specs are high quality actually came with powder residue on the bolt face and carrier so it was tested as a whole BCG which is nice.

Sorry they are a little blurry (crappy phone camera) but I broke it down real quick for you.

You can see the stamp well enough and staking picture is pretty clear

Sweet thanks. That is some bang for your buck. I might even get one as a spare.

When I ordered it I was excite until I got it. It came in Noveske packaging and when I opened it------ Magpul! What gives? On top of that it is plastic. I would not buy this if I knew. Stick with the Troy!

Thanks for the heads up! This is a great thread! As soon as I can figure out how to transfer/post pics, I'll be doing a couple of product reviews, such as some pocket holsters and belts.

Ok Rained Arms Raptor charging handle. Great handle works ambi just fine. Handle does not stick out so far that you get poked in the chest, especially when hanging from a single point sling. Works well either hand raking or two fingers for sticking steel cases. It is still large enough to easily manipulate around any optics you will want. Great handle well worth the price! Made in the USA from aircraft grade 7075 aluminum and milspec anodized.

~$85 through Amazon with free shipping.

Why thru Amazon? Get it from Rogtac, Rainier Arms authorized dealer. $85.45 with 5% off (Code: FT5) shipped. Rogtac ships faster than Amazon :).

Because I'm an authorized dealer also, and I'm trying not to use the forum as a sales tool! Hence the "neutral" site! ;)

    Dueck Defense Rapid Transition System

So I got these for the next build, I wanted to try these instead of BUIS. These are basically A2 sights with the elevation adjustments. Now you can go the distance with your irons and not remove optics. Well built , adjusting sight is tight and nice clicks, not sloppy like the knock off A2's on Amazon. My only gripe is they claim you can mount them for lefties or righties, but the rear sight is not symmetrically designed for it. The front is perfect for it but the rear is not. Good sights, got them for $229. Vltor Basic E-mod

This is my first time using it. Overall impressed. Has three storage compartments, a Q/D receptacle, a loop for a sling, thick buttpad. For you Duck Dynasty bearded brothers the cheeck rest mite snag a few whiskers here and there. I have just a few days growth an it bit me. You will see in the pic the crack in the cheek test. PWS FSC556 Flash Suppressing Compensator

This is my 4th PWS, I have a 556, FSC 30, and the CQB. I'm my opinion the best out there. I've used a BattleComp, it's very similar in performance but prefer the PWS esthetically. It is nicely cut, it is a Hybryd muzzle device that breaks, comps and flash hides. My only gripe is it comes with a shim set to install. Ditch it and get a crush washer. It is critical to time these just right. It can also be pinned , comes with a hole drileldd.

Franklin Armory Multi Cal Billet lower

This is a nice lower . It's a little beefy, not milspec. It has Q/D receptacles on the receiver, flared mag well, textured front magwell, trigger guard, and the tensioner screw for the upper. Different looking upper, slightly heavier due to some cosmetics. Nice lower overall. (Green tape not included) cover digits. Magpul ACS stock

My favorite offering from the magpul line. I Like the little added weight it gives to the rear of the rifle helps with balance, the cheek welds are comfortable with no beard tug at all, locks tight on buffer tube, just an all around comfortable stock option suitable for precision build or defense build IMHO

    Plus it looks great lol

    Troy Battle Mags

Recently picked up a few of these from aimsurplus for dirt cheap its my first go around with them and I'm impressed.

I really enjoy the scale grip on them better then most others I have owned or used, scales just give u more grip even when wet and with gloves on.

I got to test that on an outdoor range trip in the snow last weekend, they fed and functioned flawlessly everytime great mags just not a fan of impact resistant floor plates I stick to the flush floor plates myself.

IMHO they are right on par with Pmags
