What 380 ammuntion do you prefer for general range use?
For range use, pretty much whatever I can find. Winchester white box, PMC, Blazer Brass, American Eagle, all worked fine.
My own 90 gr RNL handloads. Nearly free
Yep. I use that dirty Russian crap too. As long as my gun likes it, I like it too. The cheaper the better.
Pretty much anything I can find. I will start to reload as soon as dies become available again. Which gun are you shooting?
Whatever is cheap.
Sig P238 (or will be as soon as it arrives)
I don't really like shooting my 380 at the range. I do it so that I can feel comfortable carrying my Kahr P380. But it isn't exactly a plinker.
A Sig P238? Winds-of-change loves hers, as do many others here at FTF. Do you spend a lot of time with 1911's or other guns with thumb safeties?
Nice thing about dirty Russian crap ammo, you're pretty much forced to clean your gun every outing. 10 rounds or 100, it gets sooty !!
I have Wolf in .380, 9mm, and 45 ACP and none of it is clean !
I bought the S&W Bodyguard .380.....but I think my next carry gun will be that Sig as well.
Anything you really dont like about the Bodyguard?
Nope, nothing. It's quality is great, I like the built in laser and it's lightweight. I carry it everyday. My comment about the Sig is because I have an addiction to guns, and there is always a "next" one out there for me.
I hear that! !
If you thoroughly clean and lube your weapon every time you shoot it, like you're supposed to, dirty ammo doesn't matter, does it???
