I’m about to bump some more gun threads to the top, we need some gun talk
Here's one of my throwaways
These look like a real hoot to shoot and being that they use black power cartridges, the recoil department wouldn't be too bad.
The only revolver worth having.
Going down that route huh?
Just ordered the S&W 327 2" .357 8 shot revolver. Should have it in two weeks.
They're pretty proud of it.
By pretty proud, I assume your mean the price. MSPR is $1,324.00 but I was able to buy mine from my LGS for $1,200.00 including tax which means I actually paid $1,130.00 for the gun. Normally I wouldn't pay that much for a gun but my stimulus check was burning a hole in my pocket.
I take it you bought it to carry? Thing is if the unthinkable happens and you have to use it you'll never see it again. The police will hold it for years and somehow it will be misplaced before it's return. Good bye $1130.00
I carry a Kahr CW40 I paid $234 for. Reliable, accurate, good round, won't bother me if it's held in some evidence locker and no cop wants it. I also carry a 9mm. Shield and a CZ82. All bought for under $300, all reliable.
I imagine he would be more happy that he was still alive because he had a good reliable gun on him when he needed it.
There's plenty of stone cold reliable guns out there at $300 give or take, I just named three of them. No need making a bad situation $1130 worse IMHO. Carry what you want to carry, I just thought I'd bring that up.
If your carrying well there are times you have to leave it in the car or truck too. Again $1130 or $300.
