If there were a mink farm nearby you would know it. Those F***ers stink like nothing you've ever smelled in your life.

Yep, I used to work on one as a high schooler for about 2 months. After being bit and sprayed (similar to skunks) a few times, I had enough.

There are some mink in the creeks and ditches in nw Ohio. They aren't spotted often but the trappers always seem to find some.

The kitty is a lucky cat, Minks and Weasels/ Ermines (Mustelinae in their winter white coat) are viscous and lightning fast critters that can kill animals much bigger than they are. In all my years trapping Muskrats, I only caught one Ermine but had some of my sets destroyed by minks that escaped (you could tell by the paw scratching on the bank).

If there is one, there are many.

Yes, mink and weasels are extremely skilled fighters. They are tough, indeed. You're right about 'lucky cat'.

Don't let everybody trash talk your cat with "lucky" talk, Jim, it was all tactics and skill :sly:

Hairy (the cat) has been hunting since he was 1 year old and he will catch and kill anything his size or smaller. He's brought home squirrels and large rabbits. If things ever get tough I can always count on Hairy to bring home some meat.:)

Wow, reads like the punch line of a "you might be a redneck, if..." joke. Seriously sad that the human species is dumb enough to need warnings of this kind...:beatingdeadhorse:

I want the grey goat with black legs. So cute. Little knobby knees.
