‘Twas a great day to hit the water yesterday, a bit of rain and 40* but a great day to be alive. With no competition at the ramp and still the same outcome. Lots of healthy fish.

I’ll admit, Caveman is a hater, a hater of SPIDERS!!! I’m just now getting over my second spider bite, I have not seen the offender so don’t know what it specifically was but I’ve have had to take 1000mg antibiotics for 10 days both times.:eek::eek:

Dayum man, Coho are my favorite Salmon. While I was working we did Charter Boats in Lake Michigan. Since retirement, well, cannot afford the Charter prices. I do truly miss that. Smoked all of them we could catch. :(

The majority of these forked tailed little guys are landlocked Coho, the little brothers, if you will of the big guys in the rivers.
The others with the rounded tails are “Triploid” Rainbow trout meaning they will never spawn just eat and get big. They were introduced in this lake last year and some in other lakes have grown to 20+ #.

Here's one of a Mother squirrel moving her little ones out of the nest to behind a wood pile. I have several of her, she moved 5 little ones and didn't seem to care that I was there . Don't know if any of you have ever seen this so I thought I'd post it.
