Not mine, this was at a place i was working the last couple days. I didn't realize anyone made a 400 horsepower outboard motor, so i looked it up. MSRP on just the engine alone is around $35,000! So it's basically worth 5 times more than the boat it's attached to.....which is the true spirit of hot rodding i guess.

That’s WAY to much motor for that boat

What a piker. If he had real money he'd have gone for a Seven Outboard.

575 hp and 627 hp for some real power.
They started with Cadillac V 8s. Don't know if that's what they still use.

I hadn't heard of those either so i looked them up, looks like they use the supercharged GM 6.2 LSA that was used in some Camaros & yep, the Cadillac CTS-V.

I can't imagine the size or expense of the boat you would have to buy to support 1000 pounds of outboard hanging off the transom.

Well, if you've got the space you may as well shoehorn one more in.
