Is there any kind of portable sound weaponry available?

Something designed to deliver a sound shockwave in a directed pattern using gunpowder charges?

Electronic ones?

If you had one that could deliver "the brown note" would that be legal?

hmmmmm, wonder if my 1911's could fit that description?

To answer your question..... I'm not personally aware of anything that fits your description, but there are those that will tell you that I'm not famous for what I know. ;)

more?

Not sure what you are asking? But here in Michigan the blue berry orchard owner use sounds of gun shot machines to scare away the birds. I know of one owner that was taken to court over the use of it every day. Not sure how he came out. They sound very real.

Where I was herring fishing one time, one of the set-net site owners had a propane cannon that fired at about 15 minute intervals to scare off the seals. I think it actually called them in (Hmm, cannon's going off, Hank must have fish in his net...) Wasn't very portable though. Suppose you could carry it in the back of your pickup.
