I got bored and decided I needed a better reloading/gun maintainence bench.
Found a used Kobalt workbench on Craigslist for $50. It had a cheap particleboard top, so I added a piece of 3/4" oak plywood $18 from Lowes. Glued and screwed to the existing top and it is incredibly sturdy!
A little stain and varnish, and an ever so cheap FTF decal (worth the money)!!!

That looks like a nice set up Gordo.. After spending all that money on a box you should organize it a little. What a mess !!!

I'm sure the GF will tell me it's a little crooked though, maybe not though

Poor man or not that is not a bad looking set up.

I can't want till I get a house where I can build my gun room to suit my needs. I want a reloading area a work area and a cleaning area.

Thank's to all for the compliments!
After using the bench for a few days now, my only regret is the length. It is only 4 ft. and another foot would have made all the difference. It is what it is though!
I do have to say, while I usually don't buy things from Harbour Freight, I got the flourescent magnifying light from them ($40) and it has turned out to be one of those things I wonder how I ever got along without!

    Very nice Gordo
I'm always using a headlamp when working in my cave, I may look into one of the lights.
    Have fun :D
