No Sig and no Hi-point. I'm not voting
Can't believe I forgot Sig.... I'll try to get them added
Looks like I can't do it, yesterday I edited another poll but this one doesn't jaha the edit button
Surprised at all the Glockers
Wished I would have posted it different
CZ isn’t on your list. But, been kind of a close run over the last year between the CZ P07 and my Beretta Px4 Compact for hammer fired DA/SA pistols with decockers.
Walther P99 for striker fired DA/SA decocker equipped pistol.
Glock for partly staged striker fired polymer pistol.
Not a huge fan of fully staged striker fired pistols, though they can have some great feeling triggers.
My favorite is my H&K USP. No vote from me
nothing wrong with starting another poll.
I voted just to see if GLOCK was the winner here. That it was did not surprise. I voted Ruger because it's the only poly pistol I own that's on the list, otherwise I would have voted Kahr.
Poly has a place for me only in a carry gun, no denying that the poly pistols and revolvers carry better if only for the weight. I consider the Kahr CW / P series, along with the Ruger LCRX to be the absolute best carry guns.
What did surprise me was that the "none" vote equalled the GLOCK vote. I guess there are more out there like me who prefer steel than I thought! It would be interesting to see the age demographics, are the "steel" people older, as I suspect, or is the younger generation into steel as well?
FWIW, my favorite semi automatic handguns are the 1911, Ruger MK series, and the Kahr K series.
I'm surprised at all the NONE's !..................
I made a new poll:
There are still a number who like metal. If a poll was started on what finish of metal firearm, I would think that the "Blued" would get the most votes. I'll set one up.
Had to go with a Springfield...I have 3 polymer XD series and they just shoot...and shoot well...accurate for me etc...BUT, if it were up there, SIG P320 gets an honorable mention and what a toss up between HK VP9 and Walther PPQ...those last two are just superior in so many ways...but the one that counts the most for me...the trigger. I shoot them better than most of the pistols I own.
