I know a lot of you have done it and have various ways, I'm looking for what the different methods are and what the steps are to do this. I'm going to do this to one of my glocks soon and hopefully get it as close as I can to resemble a mirrored finish. I know I could send it out to be chromed but I'd rather do it myself.

Give it some time boss. You asked for a detailed post and I'm sure someone will oblige.

I thought tennifer was supposed to be even tougher than rhino liner. I'm going to follow this post, and hopefully learn something.

Not posting anything helpful just came across this thread and would like to know why you want to deface a Glock like that? Nothing personal but Glock's are not made to be high polish blingy guns.

Good question, just looking for a project gun to work on and do things, I love working on my guns and enjoy learning more about them every day. I also thought about getting a crappy Smith & Wesson or something else to do that to instead

Even if polished off...the tennifer will continue to protect your gun...it penetrates the steel of the slide.

The color, is just a pigment...you CAN polish it off with no negative effects.

Simichrome polish and a dremel will do the trick.
