Starting a new project tonight, stripping the blueing off my 92fs barrel then polishing to a nice shine. Going to try the naval jelly by loctite to remove blueing, and a super soft buffing wheel to polish. No scratches, so no sanding.

    Any thoughts?

Should I polish the locking block and plunger as well?

Note: using a pair of ear plugs to keep naval jelly out of barrel, Just in case.

Mission accomplished, working on a matching magazine now.
I know that this is raw material and plan on using a very thin coat of white lithium grease. Plus regular oil and cleanings too.
