This Pit tangled with a porcupine,

A vet sedated the dog and then removed a total of 1,347 quills. The dog survived and has, hopefully, learned a valuable lesson.
Now, tell me you had a bad day!!

Ouch. I guess that dog did not want to take "No!" for an answer?

    OMG!!!!

That certainly says something about the determination (Or Stupidity) of this pit bull. WOW! That hurts to even look at it. Lucky he didn't loose his eyes! The fact I backed into a cactus in Texas while stalking (Yes Animals!) two years ago was a "Cake Walk" after seeing this. I have to laugh about the cactus episode! I don't think I like Porcupines!!!!!

That must be some yummy-*** meat!

But that pic looks more like a crime of passion, than one of hunger.

My brother has a older dog that won't leave the skunks alone. She gets it about twice a month. This started last sumer when my brother moved from Texas back to Cali. up in the Sierras here. My brother and his wife are at their wits end with this dog.

I guess I would call that Acupuncture to cure a bad attitude.

I feel bad for the poor naked porcupine.

I can see an initial brush resulting in 10 or so quills. Maybe the dog was really determined so I can even see 100 or so quills. But 1300 quills? Yes folks it even applies to dogs,
