So clearly this is an age old argument that boils down to a cost/benefit relationship, but this one is for a specific purpose. The gun is supposed to be a trail rifle that'll probably get dragged a long freakin' way through alaskan backwoods. Ideally I'd like it to get out to 400 yards til it gets boring, which isn't a terrible long ways, but it's 300blk, it doesn't go much farther. Is the slight cost in accuracy worth the increase in reliability, or should I just go traditional on this one? I will be using handloads, and God knows what they'll be made of.
