This is one sweet revolver. 357 stainless steel 4.6" barrel with hardwood grips.

This gun is built like a brick **** house and feels great in my hand.

I'm looking forward to a little range time...:D

Love the stainless steel! Now you need some pearl grips on it!

Beautiful gun and congrats! Nothing like a good wheel gun.

I dunno, I kinda like the grips it has. :)

Ruger Single! Love them (except for the 'read the manual' warning on the bbl)

I have a Super Blackhawk and a New Vaquero. Ruger makes some great guns. Enjoy!

I have an older one my dad passed down to me. She's a .44 Magnum, not sure on when it was made.

I wonder, does it have the rather LARGE warnings stamped on top of the barrel? If not, it is that much cooler.

My 4 inch BH says made in the 200th year of American liberty on the barrel. It was the bery first handgun I purchased somewhere about '98 or '99. Bought it used from a guy my wife worked with for $160, he was not the original owner.

No it does not have warnings stamped on it. I haven't been able to locate a serial number on it either.

Yours looks like the older model with three screws. Their trigger was supposed to feel better, but they weren't as "drop safe". http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-39306.html
