Its a typical drill bit set, but it has some bits that are perfect for at home gunsmithing, a career gunsmith probably wouldn't use it, they may get something more expensive but for $10 it's real nice

The bits that these types of things come with are God sent, especially the big flat head, seems great for taking grips off handguns without scratching the screws

    Careful when applying pressure.
I've broken and bent tips on my set with hand pressure.

Thanks, good to know, because if you break a bit that really wouldn't be used for anything else, Home Depot isn't going to have, then your out of luck.

Brownells has some quality tools. I bought a set of "Pistol Smith" screwdrivers from CTD that are made in USA for a good price.

I try to use penetrating oil or heat to avoid having to use that much torque on a screw. Lots of screws on guns are hand ground. It's not like you can go to a fastener supply company and buy more. Well, you can but your gun will end up looking like a Hi Point carbine when you are finished with it.
