Phyllis passed away today. 95 years.
I always loved her. What laugh she had.
All the good old folks I grew up watching are about gone.

I thought she had gone on years ago. She was entertaining in the sixties. :)

She was eccentric and very funny. I loved her laugh. It never failed to make me smile.

Damn, maybe some of us have some years creeping up on us. I remember her with Carson. I thought she was gone also. Good Comedienne. RIP

The first time I heard Nelsons laugh on The Simpsons, I was sure they got it from Phyllis.

My wife never liked her but I always did, she was funnier than hell (whats my wife know, she didnt like Blazing Saddles either). As they leave here, we lose one last real laugh. Comedians today cant stand toe to toe with the legends. Eddie Murphy and Robin Williams are about the only ones that can spin a joke without cursing, they are truly funny. George Burns was one of my favorites!

You can still listen to all the great radio classics for free. My wife and I listen to CBS MYSTERY THEATER in bed every night.

R.I.P. Phyllis. I always loved to watch her on the variety shows and Carson. Her putdown of herself, talking about her husband, Fang, and her laugh always had me in stitches.

I can add to this. Jeff Foxworthy, Jeff Dunham. Two very funny guys.
