You can do a hack job or you can take your time and make it look like a gunsmith did it. Just be careful, and mark the parts before you start cutting. Dont use a tin snips. It will look like you cut it. use a file, and do a nice job! After you are done fitting, use a majic marker to color it so it looks like it was like that from the factory. Takes a little time, but good gunsmithing looks good. I have fired around 2000 rounds through my HP22A and is showing signs of wear. It still fires every time I pull the trigger which is a good thing! Do use only standard velocity ammo though. It will digest most of which you put though it, but will fail long before its life expectancy if you use High velocity ammo. 1150 fps is the max that the factory recommends. No High Velocity!!
