You are registering with the White House? Sorry. Won't do it. I'd bet that will be used to track some people when they come for our guns.

If you think I am being paranoid, look up what the cash for clunkers thing did to a persons PC.
I don't think you are mistaken at all, just not sure it's going to matter in a day when states are talking about leaving the union and our president and the MSM seem to want to start another civil war.

It still hasn't reached 10000 as of now...Please share the link and spread the word, if you are afraid to register find a friend who isn't. The antis got 200000, we don't need them to come on tv and use their unopposed petition as "proof" of what americans want.

Its called the SECOND AMENDMENT! If the federal government wants to recall firearms, it will involve repealing the Second Amendment.

That is, IF they want to do it the right way (provisionally speaking, in the Constitution). But, dont count on it. It has never stopped the excessive spread of federal government into private citizens lives and the trampling of rights that has ensued.

The Federal Government doesnt care about us and if that isnt obvious by now then there may be even less hope for America than I dared believe. The change comes when the government no longer works for the people but the other way around. That is the reality. Its not how much taxation you allow the government to enact (through elected representatives), its how much of your (their?) money they are willing to let you keep.

Once a mans labor is treated as such, all else is sure to follow.

Government = force. Ours is looking for a supposed monopoly on said force. Not only that but a forced dependence on government force by creating a false need (no more civilian firearms means we have to go to government and request use of force, remeber the monopoly).

Sorry, yea, sign any ol' damned petition. Dont count on getting your representation though (still waiting to hear back on Texas leaving the Union :p)

You know there's a constitution, right?... And the whole point of creating a constitution, was to prevent people from reneging on rights they might find inconvenient later....
To prevent the 'tyranny of the majority.'

I think we need a petition to ban petitions...

I'm not seeing the antis with a petition reaching 200,000. What I see is:
Anti-gun = 2,824
Pro-gun = 19,366

This is the petition I saw quoted on the news, once there is a response they are closed and damned hard to find. Don't know if it will do any good but if we could get enough sigs before they decide to respond to the pro 2A side maybe it would shut Chris Matthews up about the "Will of the people"
