It implies they got everything but the missile and warhead.

One of the worst written articles ever. I was thinking guidance system wheras they actually bought a missile. If I were to guess it's probably an inert training shape of some sort, probably a beat up load trainer.
It's hard to tell from the horrible article. I'd be shocked if it were anything more than that. Even without a warhead, the rocket motor could cause any number of legal problems.

Embarrasses the hell out of me that these nimrods are here in Las Vegas. Bad thing is, the "owners" no longer give an aerial intercourse through a highly motivated circular pastry about regular locals any more. All they're looking for are the nutcases and idiots selling weird s**t. Many of the people I know that live in neighborhoods near these dimwads wish the program had never been started. Nothing but freaks and looky-loos all over the place any more.

Missile for the F4 Phantom.....? Uh, no. The missile became operational in '91, and the Phantom was long out of frontline service by then. We were using F4's as unmanned target drones at Tyndall AFB in the late 70's.

Cool find though - I agree that it must be a training model. I'd still have it checked though - just in case a live one 'somehow' made it to public sale.....

I recall the 'surplus' F18 that was sold publicly a few years back, and had NOT been demilled. The USN was not pleased!
