I am trying to get a ballpark figure on a Parker Shotgun.
    12 ga
    1890
    Bernard Barrels (not Damacus)
    Grade "C"
    hammerless
Factory letter confirming that it is one of about 50 that came from the factory with those barrels.

Any ideas what this thing is worth?

Ummmmmmm...........You're not holding the shotgun close enuff to the computer........

Seriously, there is so MUCH variation in Parkers, I would not even attempt to toss out a ballpark value. It will rely on EXACT model, condition and originality. A model XYZ in Good condition is worth $$, but THAT model with a single selective trigger is worth $$$$, unless it has automatic ejectors, in which case it is worth $$$, or is in 14 guage, which is worth $$$$$$$$$.

You really need to contact the Parker Collector's Society, and ask for a referral to an appraiser that is expert in Parkers. Anything else is a guess, AND WITH NO PICTURES NOT A VERY GOOD GUESS!!!!

However, I would be glad to send you a check for $100 if you pay the shipping to me.......:p

I tried to get pics but couldn't. One of my co-workers has the thing. Got it from his grandfather who paid $175 for it new. Showed me the paperwork (with Parker seal) explaining where it was ordered from, the makeup of the barrels, the grade, etc.

According to the letter, the were less than 500 Parkers made with those barrels, and less than 50 that were hammerless with ejectors (like this one).

While it is for sale (add a couple of zeros to your $100 offer, $10,000), I think it may be out of my grasp.
