I totally want one of these. The only drwback I can find is that the LDA is proprietary so you have to find a para armorer if it breaks. Even with that, the LDA is so damn smooth I want one regardless of possible issues.
I want mine to be the 14+1 though. I have large hands and do not like the single stack 1911's.

Been several yrs but i had a Hi Cap DAO in 9mm - it was as said --BUTTER SMOOTH
Only other experience with Para was a P-13 - no problems with it either -
    Nice shooter :)

Have a Para C7/45. Trigger is slicker than snot on a doorknob. Some 1911 fans do not like the long trigger pull, but for us revolver shooters it is a natural. Well made guns- at least the Canadian ones were- will see about the NC guns.

I had a Para LTC a few years ago, sold it to a really close friend of mine (dirt cheap) for his first pistol. I miss it he loves it.

Its what para calls Light Double Action, LDA for short. 3.5 lb pull if you like double action or revolver style triggers you would love this. The smoothest pull on the market hands down.
