I duracoated my colt 1911. It had severe holster wear when I got it, now it looks brand new. Duracoat is a very good way to go

Some duracoat is chemically cured rather than heat. Its supposed to be ideal for polymer firearm parts

All the duracoat kits with the prevalent sprayer are all chemically cured. I used these kits on over 6 firearms. I mainly used them in the first place because most the parts I was doing wouldn't fit in my oven.now that all the parts are coated im really happy with the results, nice and even, very durable
