Hello everyone, I want to paint my New Frontier Lower Receiver with some red paint, I want to paint inside of where it says new frontier and on the fire selection area. What type of paint should I use on the Polymer.

    Thanks,Paul.

Testors model paint works really good for this type of stuff

I tried nail polish today but it didn't seem to give a solid finish, it was almost transparent because of its thinness I guess, I'll stop by the hobby store and pick up something. Thanks guys

I ordered a small bottle of testors bright red paint for a couple bucks w/ free shipping, saves me the hassle of going at lunch.

The q-tip idea is smart, I planned on just wiping the excess off with a towel or rag.

If you do it with wet paint it just smears, i tried that. Let it dry some and then take the q tip to it.

Looks good. Another color on the other lettering, logo would look good as well.

I used just good ol model paint from Walmart, not sure of the brand. I had my logo bright green but decided I liked gold more after I did my shotgun

I used nail polish as well. Smear it on nice and thick and then remove it with a cotton ball and non-acetone nail polish remover. Came out perfect.

Being a polymer lower you have to be SURE you use non-acetone if you go this route.
